The VesselWork
Framework
Repairing the Vessel to Live from Overflow
VesselWork® is the foundational healing framework that undergirds all of my work. It centers on a simple but often overlooked truth:
You cannot sustainably pour from a vessel that has not been repaired.
In psychology, in faith, and in life, we often focus on performance, service, and resilience without first addressing the condition of the vessel doing the pouring. VesselWork® interrupts that pattern by prioritizing healing, capacity, and integrity before expectation. This framework is especially for those who have been strong for a long time.
What Is the Vessel?
In VesselWork®, the vessel represents your whole self:
- your emotional capacity
- your nervous system
- your spiritual life
- your identity
- your boundaries
- your body
When the vessel is cracked, depleted, or overloaded, even good callings begin to feel heavy, resentful, or unsustainable. VesselWork® helps you identify where your vessel has been strained, neglected, or damaged, and teaches you how to repair it with intention and care.
Why VesselWork®
Matters?
Many people do not burn out because they lack faith, discipline, or purpose. They burn out because they were never taught how to:
- recognize depletion early
- honor capacity limits
- heal before giving again
- differentiate calling from overfunctioning
- your boundaries
- rebuild after chronic stress or trauma
VesselWork® provides language, structure, and tools for this work in a way that is both psychologically sound and spiritually grounded.
What VesselWork®
Helps Address
- chronic emotional exhaustion
- burnout and compassion fatigue
- trauma-driven overfunctioning
- people-pleasing and guilt-based service
- identity loss tied to roles and responsibility
- spiritual fatigue and faith confusion
- difficulty resting without shame
